Anyone who is interested in these, GET THEM. Best bang for the buck, and great price too. Have them on my car, and they perform better than ap1 and tsx projectors. Some might disagree but that's my personel opinion.

No. You would have to use your own ballasts or get new ones (if you don't already them)

I said that's just my personel opinion. I went to the canyons and it was pitch black, me, an ap1, and an ap2. Just or the heck of it, we lined the cars up and tried to see which gives better lighting.

They were pretty close, and we all agreed that the mh1's gave a clearer lighting, yet the s2k projectors could project light a bit further than the mh1s

clearer light? you must mean foreground lighting

many people misbelieve that a bright foreground(floor) = good lighting

but that's just the opposite, the best projectors put their lighting output near the cutoff line =lighting that travels as far as you need it to go. The s2k projectors are probably the best stock projectors for this reason, add to that how wide they are. There is a reason why people who understand this pay a premium for those projectors

if you slap some hid's in your stock headlights you will get tons of glare that will light the foreground, but not much more

like I said these are good projectors for the price, but it's important to educate yourself at the same time
