High Flow Catalytic Converter (300 cell ct)
This is a great performance addition for your exhaust set up. I just don't use it anymore and would like to get back some of what I paid for. So my asking price is almost dirt cheap. $60 Shipping via buyer's expense please. It's pretty much like new. Probably put around 4-5k miles on it. Thanks for looking.

Manufacturer?

What size is the inlet/outlet? 2.5"?

Fits (w/ JPipe) before stock exhaust/CBE?

D*mn, I apologize for leaving out the essentails! This is a Magnaflow metal core spun cat welded to solid flanges and is fitted between the j-pipe and the remaining exhaust system. The metal core does not break like the ceramic cores and is 300 CPI. Both inlet and outlet diameters are 2.5 inches wide. Its a great piece of work.

To clarify, 300cpi, not 500cpi?

Yes its 300cpi, not 500...I had no issues running without a heatshield. To give you an idea, I had insulated wires (AEM harness) running thru the underbody into the cab for my oil temp gauge. The wires were roughly 5-6 inches away and suffered no heat damage. I'll be happy to provide pics of the surrounding area of the underbody.

Yes I was running stock primaries with my setup. I never did get around to installing me some pre-cat deletes...so this secondary cat is good and ready to go! No rattles, so no loose or broken substrates. Like new condition pretty much IMHO.

I can't make up my mind...I want to upgrade my exhaust, but I don't know if I should go PCDs/JPipe/HF 3rd cat or HFPC/JPipe w/ 3rd cat delete. I have no emissions testing. I might have picked up the NRG damper, JPipe, and this cat from you.

Yeah, not sure whats the best setup out there for us 7th geners..anyone rockin a true (dual) straight pipes setup? Never seen one before...

The flanges were welded by NVA-AV6 during fitment. What have you heard about emissions using this? Just curious, cuz I had no issue with smell. Although I was running factory primary cats with my exhaust setup (to include this HFC), I had no issues with excessive fumes finding its way into the cab. Just be sure to prep the surface area, use the right gaskets, and check for leaks after torquing down fasteners.

Removing the 3rd cat won't cause any smell. It's removing the precats that causes the smell.

New price $50.00. I am not getting much back considering what I paid, but as the saying goes, "my loss is your gain". I really don't need this although I have been tempted to reinstall it using my stock exhaust, but it wouldn't make much sense. I would veyr much like to see this go to someone who can use it after all the work that went into fitting it. Again this is a Magna flow metal-core, 300ct not 500ct, spun cat custom fit-welded w/thicker flanges (2.5 in inlet & outlet). Thanks for stopping in.

hey flylow, I know someone in NY who needs a new cat - would this work on her stock '06 V6 EX Sedan exhaust as a bolt-on or would it need modding? It's her bank 2 - one at the manifold. Thanks

gwiff i ran hfpc + hfc for about a year, i honestly don't think hfc's makes a tremendous difference in power loss compared to straight pipe (yes of course it makes some). what you'll mostly notice is the smell -- i'm now pcd + hfc and the in-cabin fumes are substantially strong. i run pcd's (ceramic coated) purely to help keep heat off the heads.

This looks like such a beautiful piece, I can't believe it hasn't sold yet. Bump and GLWS.
