2000 Honda Civic Si Em1 Milano Red - $6500

im selling for a freind

located in socal

I got a 2000 Honda civic si Em1 in Milano Red that i want to try and sell. MY CAR HAS A SALVAGE TITLE FROM THEFT. I drive the car everyday with no problems at all. I have a gsr swapped motor with roughly 50k miles. I got all type-r internals, intake, chipped ecu, straight piping and a magnaflow exhaust. The car will come with factory si wheels, not the wheels in the picture. The car is pretty fast for a daily and runs very well. I change the oil every 2k miles, and only pump 91 octane. I just want to get rid of it and try to get a sedan. Im asking 6,500 o.b.o.

the car is immaculate has like 2 or 3 very small knicks no dings or dents
and the car hauls ***

Has the engine swap been Referee approved and given a door jam label?

that is a lot of money for a salvage title

that said, I love what's been done with the car, very clean, no crazy spoilers, paint is great, and the rims just seem to work well on it

could use some tinting

So when you say its swapped you mean just the internals with the same B16 block that came stock in it? I find it hard to believe that it would have a ref label otherwise, especially if it is straight piped. Just trying to get more info and help you sell the car. Saying that it is "legit" doesn't provide any additional information just an opinion. Might want to ask your friend.

Aaaa.... my bad reading the OP again I can see that you mentioned it was the GSR motor with the type R internals. Not sure how I misread that so I see where your coming from. So does it have a BAR sticker for the swap then? The car would be a more attractive buy if it did.

considering you are in Irvine, I'm not surprised that your friend's uncle got tickets for stuff like that. Cops are Bord out there and will pull you over for anything. I'm saying this out of experience. Over all seems like a great toy. GLWS

Ya it is referee sticker that says your swap got inspected and passes visual and sometimes smog if they check.

People will put anything into a Miata. Was expecting a rotary of LS V8 so this was different.
