I am really tempted to buy these, but I dont know what the output looks like. I really like the mercedes and audi output, but im not sure what the E39 and Mini Cooper hid's look like. Can you tell me if it is similar to mercedes/audi or if it is more white - like the acura's?

If you've seen a 5-series BMW, its that output. Also the output also depends on what bulb you're using. The Philips bulbs are 4300k and have some burn time in them, so it's more of a pure white. 99AznAccord has experience in these; shoot him a PM.

Well I'm trying to see how I can get this kit, I'm getting tempted to buy it.

I'm new to HID, but I'm getting a retrofit, what else do I need beside this kit for HID

Well you would be saving somewhere between $1-200 bucks by buying all this together
You would need your stock headlights( but i bought some extra one so i wouldn't mess mine up.)
And some patinence and mostly creativity.
i think that is about it..anyone else wanna add

I make anything fit. It'll be tough, but doable.

I highly doubt it will fit with the comptech air box. It seems like this is the same size as like the RS6 bixenon, just minus the silenoid. If that's the case, then more than likely it will not fit. UNLESS you don't mind having a retrofit with no shroud like some of the other retrofits that I have seen. But in my opinion, that is not the route that you may wanna go. I know I can make those single xenon e46's fit with your comptech air box.

Oh and I be willing to help out anyone get this retrofit done if they purchase this set. Just hit me up on pm, email ([email protected]), or IM at Green1999Accord.

So all I need is this kit, a set of headlights and someone who can do this right? haha, as much as I'm into modding cars, I'd have to go to a pro for this retrofit.

I am very, very interested if markus1030 decides to pass. I do have a couple of questions though.

1. Can I use these to retrofit my first gen aftermarket headlights?
2. How bad is the damage? Does it affect the fitment or long-term reliability?
3. If I do buy these, can someone show me how to make a wiring harness?

The red plug is missing a small piece of plastic. It does not affect performance at all. It hooks up fine and tight. I tested it already. I didn't use these. I pulled the projectors out of original housings so they are new - no scratches. It's complete. The only thing I suggest is a wiring harness, which is easy to make. Have you check this place yet http://faq.auto.light.tripod.com/headlamp-harness.html? If you need help, go to hidplanet.com and search through the threads and ask questions. They'll most likely will help. I'm there too.

What kind of aftermarket headlights?

markus1030, 99AznAccord can help you out if you're not comfortable with the retrofit.

Left: missing the red tab. Right: complete

if you guys really want to get on this kit, be my guest, I'm not gonna hold up nobody! But if (I highly doubt it) this kit still happens to be avail next week, then I'll take it. Otherwise, no holdup from me yo. Fellas interested in this kit, this is a great deal not to pass up, get on it ASAP.
