i have never had a cdr skip in this HU. as long as ur burned cd is of ok quality (no deep scratches and what not) it will be fine.

i have never had a CDR skip, but the unit has trouble picking up(at least in mine) where the thrack starts.

i can start a burned cd but i cant skip forwarding tracks.....if i try to, then the CD just spins....i have to let the burned CD play from track one if i want to hear further tracks...

for example if i slide one of my favorite CDS in the stock HU and i want to immediately play track 9 on the cd, it will not play it, the disc just spins inside the head unit...its hard to explain but the cd player just makes a sound of a disc spinning round inside....i hope this makes sense as i am sorta drunk, ill try and clarify tomorrow or sooon...

ive never had a problem with that on my unit. i can skip tracks. i can fast forward and if im sick of listening to that track ill just skip to the next one. it'll pause for about 2sec before starting but im sure thats how it is for all cd players.
