FS: Comptech Exhaust NEW

I am selling 2 comptech universal mufflers that i bought from ebay a few weeks ago

these mufflers are the same ones that used in the axle back system, but they part them out seperately.

the reason i am selling them is because i found an used set of axle back for a good price and that's y i am giving up the custom exhaust project.

there is nth wrong with the mufflers and it's easy to do the custom project, either axle back or all the way to the catback. a custom catback would cost around 400 dollars and save a whole bunch on the whole system.

The Mufflers are BRAND NEW IN BOX AND PLASTIC WRAP, never been opened.

btw the mufflers would fit on any car....TL, CL, TSX, Accord V6 and 4 cylinders like Civic or RSX, however i have 2 of them so i have to sell them both, won't sell them seperately.

This is just for Canadian Buyers only, sorry for the guys in US, you can get them for 110 shipped on ebay

due to custom brokerage and tax i paid 175 CAD in total, it's impossible for me to do US buyers or else i am ripping you off. sorry, US buyer can buy from here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33636

for local Toronto i will take 140CAD and 160CAD shipped for anywhere in Canada.

thanks for looking

sam

They are perfect.. if you want something low key, a little loud but not too loud, and very OEM looking..

I'll upload pics of mine later today so you can see how they look..

So are those mufflers the same ones as the $700 CT axle-backs except without the tip and stuff?

yes

and a custom job costs less than 250 in total for the same thing

but you ahve to cut the old muffler and weld the new one on

or you can custom a y-pipe or even all the way up to the cat

still costs less than 500 for the whole custom cat back system

I'm not sure why the poster of this thread didnt have tips on them.. usually when you buy them from CT, they come with tip...

These, they dont come with the the exhuast tips and the back part of the exhaust as well..

Yeah, you need tips and need to have them welded on by a muffler shop. I just contacted comptech and they said the inlet is directly in the center of these mufflers, which is incompatible with our Accords. I called a muffler shop and they said they'll charge additional money on top of installation for making mandrel bent pipes in order to get these to fit on our car. And since the v6 has dual mufflers. Installation costs are going to be more than the mufflers themselves. In the end it'll be cheaper than buying a new CT axle-back setup but maybe more than a used pair. That is if you find tips like the original comptechs. And you no longer have your stock exhausts if you ever want to swap them.
