Well, basically this is my argument:

You won't see BRAND NEW coilovers going for $479 shipped anytime soon. These are name brand, known good quality.

CF hoods are going to be around. ]

IMO

I concur...hehe!

I was planning on either buying a bodykit or coilovers..and someone stated that the bodykits are not on sale anyways, and eventually I will need a set of shocks...so this was a good buy for me! In my opinon, you already have a hood that does not wear down, but you have shocks (assuming that your lowered) that will eventually go! so go buy the coilovers!!! hehe..

good luck!

dave...good luck on this new set of group buy!!!

Easy...but the cheapest and rarest thing first. That is a great price for the coilovers. The CF hood you can always get later. Who knows, Dave might even be convinced to do a CF hood group buy if enough people show interest

Is shipping to Canada $85 on top of the $479.00...?

Although I have a set of Apex'i for 3 years already...this is still tempting.

Yes, but I need your actual ship to address. That is the maximum amount that I would charge. Most people are in the $55-$65 range.

Thanks,

Dave

Yes still available!

As far as future group buys, I'm trying to find some HID's for you guys. I'm looking for 4300k and up. I'll let you know when I have more info.

The CF hoods and such, I'm looking into that as well. The OEM lips, etc.. I'd love to do, but there isn't much price break on those, but I am trying.

Will these coilovers fit a Type-S? How do they compare to the Tein SS coilovers with EDFC? Will these coilovers be compatible with an EDFC to change the dampening setting on the fly? Thanks.

I'm in on the groupbuy if they fit the Type-S.

Hey guys here some more info, my links aren't working, I'm having some issues... not the mental ones

Q. Will this fit a 00 TL?
A. They WILL fit the CL and the TL.

Q. Do you guys know what the spring rates are on this setup ?
A. Spring rates are F:6.5kg/mm R:4kg/mm
40mm piston diameter

Height adjustment is pretty good, but it's only coil adjustment (I don't know how many points though! sorry), not shock & coil adjustment. Stock upper mounts HAVE to be used, so aftermarket camber plates/pillow ball mounts are out of the question.

Q. Do you know what the spring rates are with the Tein SS ? I'm trying to compare the Apexi and the teins and seeing which one is better. I'm looking for the coil over with a better ride.
A. I just replaced my Tein SS with the Apex'i WS. For the price you are NOT going to get anything better. My Teins were great when they were new. But after 60K miles it was time to go. Here are a few things I was really impressed with the Apex'i kit:

1. fit and finish. they are polished stainless steel and really sturdy
2. a little firmer than the SS but not too jarring. i think it's perfect for my style of semi-aggresive driving
3. at less than $500, it's the best suspension you can get. if i had to start all over, i would go with the Apex'i WS over the TEIN SS. Sure the SS has adjustable dampening, but I used it once and the back was totally useless

Q. Hey I was wondering how much they change the ride height, I haven't actually looked I'm too busy this sounds like a great deal... I'll think about it depending on the height thing. Is it 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2", etc.?
A. You can adjust the ride height to your liking. They are adjustable. I believe, (since I don't have a set of these, but want one), you can leave it stock, which may already lower you some probably less then 1.5" then as much as 3"
I haven't been able to find an "official" spec. What I have found is:

"I regularly go from daily height (1.8") to race (2.5")
This was from this link:
http://board.hondasociety.com/showthread.php?t=44053

0 - 1.5" drop : Stiff. You will get better results going with prokits and shocks.
1.5 - 3" : Stiff. Probably the best ride quality you can get compared to any spring or coil damper system out there with an agressive drop.

Conclusion: If your planning to go with a conservative drop this is not the set for you. These damper system will give you the same amount of ride quality weather it be high or low. If your looking for an aggressive drop ..these are a must. Mines are drop 2.2 inch all around and it rides nice and stiff. I been in cars with eibach sportlines, teins and ground control and by far my apex seems to ride alot better ( teins comming next in line). hope this helps.
http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...hp/t-8893.html

Looks like from the ol'skool v6p website! That particular quote can be found 3rd one from the bottom.

Q. Hmmm, how hard would these be to install, would it be easy enough for a DIY, with the right tools, sorry I'm a noob. Or how much do you think it'd cost to get 'em installed? thanks
A. You will need at least a jack and some sturdy stands, a helping hand is always a plus. It's really not that hard, get a spring compressor and your golden. If you got a spare $100, well I'd probably pay some one!

Q. Could I rent a spring compressor from somewhere do you think... or are they hard to come by? And could I do it with like some jacks or would I need a ramp or something. Thanks
A. You will need at least a jack and some sturdy stands, a helping hand is always a plus. It's really not that hard, get a spring compressor and your golden.

More good info:
You do not need a spring compressor to remove the spring/shock assemblies from the car.

You DO need a spring compressor to take the spring/shock assembly apart.

In this case the apexi worldsport require the upper mount from the stock spring/shock assemblies. For this you need a spring compressor. You can buy a spring compressor from most auto shops for 40$.
Thank you driven

My advice is, if you're going to do it yourself, if you haven't already - go buy a GOOD manual. I have a Haynes, it's not GOOD but it's better then Chilton's IMO.
