**CLOSED** **Optical Blue, Yellow Smoked Film GroupBuy**

Headlight, Taillight and fog light film.

This is for the 98-02 Accord coupe, however, I can get it for other vehicles.

I am in contact with a company that has made a custom kit for the 98-02 accord coupe. The film is for the headlights and taillights. You can get the headlights and taillights in any of the following colors:

Blue
Yellow
Smoke
Charcoal
Clear

Check this link for a pic of the various colors

I have attached a link to what it looks like applied to my ride.

There is also pictures of the folowing:
Eyebrows for the 98-02 Accord
Turn signal cover for the 03-Up accord (sedan or coupe)

Here is a link:
Accord application

Headlights are: $45 shipped
Taillights are: $65 shipped

For $99 shipped, you can get both the headlights and taillights
*I have had to raise my prices - postage has gone up and if you've mailed anything recently you'll understand.

Here's a price break down for the DIY'ers:

4"x12" $8
(2)4"x12" $12

8"x12" $12
(2)8"x12 $20

12"x24" $24
(2)12"x24" $40

12"x48" $45
(2)12"x48" $80

Prices are for colored films

10% less for clear

Shipping is $4.00, unless you want me to provide a tracking number. If so it's $8.00

I also do custom sizes, but this has been the most common request

Q&A:

Q: Is it just for looks?
A: No, it's not just for looks; it will protect your headlights from the road debris, i.e. rocks, bugs etc.

Q: Will it limit the amount of light?
A: No, the film is designed not to distort the light.

Q: How thick is it?
A: It’s 12mill thick.

Q: Can I ever take it off?
A: If you decide later on you’d like to remove it, it is 100% removable.

This is a great alternative to painting the taillights. I have seen very few accords with blacked out taillights. I know some people have painted theirs, and in the end, they’re very unhappy with the result.

The film comes precut, some instructions and a squeegee. There are tabs at the edges that you will have to trim off. With a little soapy water, a squeegee and a small amount of stretching they’re a good fit.

Other models will include 98-02 sedans (tail lights), Acura TL, CL, TSX, RSX. As well as 03-up Accords, coupes and Sedans. (please email me for your specific application since price may be different)

Due to the popularity of this I have decided to leave it open

To pay for an order please paypal me at:

[email protected]

Please include the following:
V6p name
Color of film
Item
Make/Model of car
Sedan/Coupe
Year

As always I will keep you all well informed and up to date.

Thanks guys,

Dave

Found out the clear film is 8mil thick vs the 17mil. Just an fyi, let me know if you're still down for some. It still provides protection, it's just like the 3M Paint Protection Film they put on the hoods and bumpers of cars.

Thanks,

Dave

I'm just going to start sending it out as people pay. If we don't meet the 10 then I'll eat the costs.

So if you're interested, then paypal me, and I'll get it out to you within 1-2 business days. Shipped via USPS.

Thanks,

Dave.

Any questions feel free to email me.

I would like some of that optical blue, is that what they have on Mercedes and BMW mirrors. If so I would definetly need some for my self and a friend we would by a piece large enough to cover about 5 sets of mirrors (10 mirrors total)

I just have a few questions....

Blue film on the lights, isn't that kinda illegal? Even thought it may not shine blue? And have you had any problems with the police

Also, how dark does the charcol/smoke look? i'm interested in the charcol for my car. And what is the difference between the two?

I thought of putting that stuff on my mirrors as well. Let me try it out and see how it looks. I'll keep you posted.

Well that's what I thought too, illegal. I've driven by several cops lately. I also drove by one that was parked facing me. I think he was playing laser license plate tag. Didn't do anything to me. I've only been pulled over once in my ryde (knock on wood) and that was cause my exhaust was too loud.

Smoke is 20% (allows 80% light)
Charcoal is 35% (allows 65% light)

I prefer the smoke, it's cleaner for my silver ryde I think, BUT charcoal might look good on darker colors.

Let me know if you have any other questions. Try to email me [email protected] since my pm box fills up so quickly.

Thanks,

Dave

Your order should be out by Thursday. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks,

Dave

Also, the 98-02 Sedan tails... still working on those.

Hairballz, I should have your tails out by monday.

Thanks,

Dave

Update guys. I have the smoke now and I'll be getting those out tomorrow or wednesday. Sorry for the delay.

As for the sedan taillights, the person I was going to work with has just been so busy.. so i'm looking for another car right now. I need a car in the area so I can mask it, and make a template - so as much as I'd like to use someone's car here on the forum I can't unless you live in boise

As soon as I can get the tails done on the sedan I WILL post. Sorry for the delay.

The fogs - I'm trying to get to those as well - I promise!

For the mirrors, I have been in contact with another company and I believe this tint, can't remember the name now would be best. I would love to sell you my film, but it's really thick and it may distort your view. So I've picked up some of this blue film and I'm, going to test it out on my mirrors. I'll update you all on the progress.

Any questions, email me.

Thanks guys,

Dave
