98-02 Accord Comptech B-Pipe

I have a Comptech CL-S B-Pipe that i retrofitted for the Accord V6. I really need to get rid of it so i'm letting it go for $175 + Shipping. Locals can pick up for free.

That's poor wording on my part. Locals don't have to pay for shipping but still have to pay for the item; $175.

Size of piping?

It was installed in my coupe so i'm not sure if it will fit on a sedan or a CL/TL-S for that matter. Piping is 2.25"

it will fit, but you have to use extensions. They can do that at a muffler shop for about $40.

A little off topic, but how was it retrofitted to fit your coupe? I'm just a little curious. Thanks in advance. Free bump!

comptech never made a B pipe for the accord, only for the cls. You can cut and reweld the pipe to make it fit the accord..

btw.. DIBS.. lol I want!! lets work out a price

2 1/4 is 2.25. Stock is either 1/8th or 1/4th.

WoW, so many questions. A lot have been answered already, so if some of y'all don't mind in doing a search for "Comptech B-pipe" to answer your questions i'd appreciate it.

I did use my Comptech mufflers and they fit perfectly. The sound did become a bit louder, but i installed them at the same time as my headers so i'm not sure exactly how much louder the car became. The premuffler already came like that from comptech. Here is a link to the product i bought: http://www.comptechusa.com/store/240128.html

If I haven't addressed anything let me know. Oh, and check your PM box Jai.

Yeah, I know that. I guess I should have been more specific as to what I wanted as an answer. Heh. How much did the shop have to cut off? I remember someone telling me that the Accord coupe exahust system is only 2 inches or so shorter than the sedan system. So, if only cut 2 inches off of the Comptech b-pipe, there may be hope that it could fit a sedan with no problem?

thanks buddy I am surprised noone jumped on this purchase earliar. This pipe originally cost 450$ from comptech. Or anywhere from 15-20% less then $450 at a minimum. Then this pipe is custom cut and rewelded to fit an accord coupe, which is atleast another 100$ at a min. You can't beat 175$ for this stainless steel pipe. The same kind've pipe custom made in mild steel costs well over 200$, thats what most of my friends with engine mods have done. I am so happy! -Jai

Frosty, I am really impressed with your cam dynos. So you got about 10hp out of it? Do you think it was worth it? about how much did that mod cost you? were you able to do the engine work yourself? Do you have any pictures of the comptech B pipe installed on your car?

oh oh.. and I love your car, it looks SO CLEAN!!! wow damn.. -J lol
