Will explain this because somebody asked previously.

how shift-light w/ transmitter(plug&play[12v cig. adaptor] unit) works:
Transmitter detects RPM speed, and adjust itself to that.
There is a knob, where you can adjust where you want it to be.
Yes, it does take time to calibrate(nothing serious, just keep turning the knob until it
lights up where you want it to be. Kinda like beat-to-music neon lights, where you have
to adjust the sensitivity alot).

I bought it because I thought it was pretty neat. And it is.
Most of all, for a wiring newbie like me, I didn't want to deal with wiring nor installation cost.
this perfectly suited my need. Only reason im selling it is because like I said, I need money.

Hey can you tell me how to modify the 98-00 mugen lip so that it will fit on my 02 V6 coupe. I read your review on it and I have wanting one for a while. Please give me the details on how to install it.

^ PM me, I'll get back to ya.

if you can send me a pic of the lip, even better. I'll photoshop it and
make it easier for you to understand how.

^ wow, that kit should be WAY easier to modify if I am correct.

If that mugen lip is same shape as previous ones(ones with long attachment that
hangs on to the front bumper in the middle), all you have to do is cut some of
those "Tabs". You see those 7 "tabs" that supposed to hang on to your front bumper?
(big middle opening in the middle of the coupe's front bumper)
Just cut 2 of those from each side, and I think you'll be good to go.

Here is a pic of my previous Type-R lip. (I had mugen lip after I broke the Type-R lip.
but they are designed exactly with same principle)

As you can see, old ones used to have that long middle piece that extends all the way
to the two air ducts, which made impossible for the new coupe bumpers to fit.
(Older coupe/sedan bumper did not have air ducts, instead, they just had
one long middle opening, thats why the lip was designed like that).

I hope you got the concept here. All it takes is just little cutting.
BUT. if that lip is different design from older lips, you might face a bigger problem.
good luck. if you need more help on, PM me. I cleared my PM box.

Hey thanks so much! That is a pretty dood explaination, I am starting to understand! I haven't purchased a lip yet because I am scared that if I get the worng one, it won't fit!
Do they make a mugen lip for the 02 accord? or Do you have to buy the old one and cut it?

I am thinking to getting this one from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

It says that it is made for 01-02 accord and that drilling is required but they probably dont give instructions or anything. I hope it works

^ thats what I would buy. That should be direct bolt on without modification.

As for drilling, I am pretty sure they are referring to drilling for holes to mount.
Probably wise to drill 2 holes each fender side area to screw the lip in,
and 3M heavy duty double sided tape for the middle part to hold on to the bumper.
Remember to alcohol-clean the places where you will put your 3M double sided tape on.
Once you do, they will stick to it like no other.
