--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ThermoBlok SPACER KIT - Honda/Acura J-Series V-6

Includes intake manifold spacer, throttle body spacer, gaskets, installation kit, bypass fitting, detailed instructions and OUTLAW ENGINEERING decals!

Price: $95.00 plus shipping ($6 US & Canada)

Payment options, shipping info, and return policies...

NOTE: Each kit varies slightly, so be sure to order the kit specifically for your year and model!

TESTING RESULTS - Honda J Series V-6

This dyno chart shows the results from the installation of a ThermoBlok kit on an '02 Acura TL Type S with no other mods. The tests were done on the same vehicle and same day, same gear, etc, immediately following the spacer installation. The vehicle was fully warmed up for both tests and no other modifications were done. It is interesting to note that without exception we seem to see greater gains on V-6 engines. It is our hypothesis that this is due to the V-6's larger intake being mounted directly above the engine where it will normally absorb more engine heat than the side mounted intake of the L4 type engines.

RESULTS: maximum gain 8.6 whp and 9.2 ft-lbs of torque at the 4900 RPM point with an average gain of 5 across the power band.

This temp chart shows the temp reduction seen at the intake runner from the installation of a ThermoBlok kit on an '00 Honda Odyssey. The tests were done on the same vehicle during a steady state 50-70 mph drive followed by idle.

RESULTS: Approximately 11F cooler at cruise and 32F cooler at idle.

WELL GUYS GOT THE REPLY FROM COMPANY THIS IS THERE RESPONSE ----

Jose,

We have not heard much interest for this engine from Accord owners in the past. If there is reasonable demand for this engine, we would certainly produce a kit. The kit price would be in line with our other products (~$100) and would take approx. 4 weeks to develop. A bulk buy of 20 kits would be a great way to start this off.

Best regards,
Sean Morgan

Just did the install, Its not that hard.

Just take my advice, and dont unbolt the throttle linkage. Or you'll have to figure out how it goes back together like me

i finally got an email from them regarding a gb.. here what they wrote to me...

Kiet,

Thank you for your interest in ThermoBlok spacer kits. We would be very interested in helping to facilitate a bulk buy with you. What forum/group would you be targeting? In general, we prefer at least 20 buys. Due to the already low price on the AcuraHonda J-Series kits, we would probably only be able to offer a 10-15% discount. Shipping in the U.S. is a flat $6 for US Postal Priority (2-4 day) delivery.

Best regards,
Sean Morgan

basically we need 20 people and price would be 91.50 shipped at most.. which isnt so bad than the full price..

i dunno whats dizzy up to with the negotiation.. but here just a thought.. maybe we can start can a list of whos interested and when dizzy is finished negotiating with them, we are ready to send in the money for the group buy.

Trying reading the first post! Even better, check out their site.

Ok, we've got their stuff up on our store now. The only way I can get the price lower is to have a groupbuy of 20. They will not allow V6P to sell for lower than their own webstore.

As far as the 4cly Accords are concerned, I'll start a new poll. We have to get 20 people w/ money in hand to get this going.

hey, im down if the power is worth it. And do these things make that hissing noise like some wrx's have or thats something else? and i guess it's for auto as well as man. tranny i used to think it was only manual transmissions.

another toy to buy, so lets jump on this and show some interest.
