Carbon Fiber Trunk for 6th gen Sedan 550$ shipped

hey guys, up for sale I have Endrais/Telele's CF trunk for sale. Currently the trunk is in good condition and bolts right in. The cf flushmount spoiler that has been installed on it was not meant for this trunk, so the clear coat on it bubbled up a little bit from it being pressure fit. To fix this problem you would quite simply need to install another flush mount spoiler on it to cover the old spoiler holes. Theres a couple small scratches on it, not really noticable unless you look real close. This is a great trunk to use for show. It would look excellent so as long as you put another flush mount on it. Its perfect if you have a black sedan, because then you can just put a black flush mount spoiler on it and youre golden. We didnt want to do this with dre's car because his car is silver and it would look like theres just a little tooo much going on with the trunk.

I think 550$ shipped is a fair price for it, considering it costs 750-800$ shipped for this same trunk brand new. Its only available from one vendor right now. The flush mount spoiler issue is pretty minor, the whole point of cf is weight reduction and strength. I tell yah, this thing feels less then half the weight of the stock trunk lid. Thats cool! So who wants pics?

he's selling it because the spoiler is bubbled, and the only way to cover the holes, is another flushmount, but a non cf one. Putting a silver flush mount on a black looking trunk like this would be ugly. But if you had a black sedan, you could put a black flush mount it would look good.

heres pics..its a rare part, you wont see it often at all. Only one company makes them and its 800$!

I took these pics myself.. the top of the flush mount has tiny bubbles in it. Its a scion tc spoiler, his installer screwed the center of the spoiler in, so the pressure from it being pressed down, caused the clear coat on it to bubble a little. Dreman is a perfectionist, so he would just not have it.

all this trunk needs is a new spoiler on it. You could install another CF scion spoiler, you would just need to not install any screws in the center of the spoiler, so theres no pressure on it.

I can get pics of the bubbles if you need em!

I dont have any pics of it w/o the spoiler, theres holes under the spoiler, I dont want to remove it then have someone want to buy it with the spoiler. I am selling the trunk with it on there, if you want you can take it off. Its sitting right here in my office, would you like pictures of it like that? its already been removed from his car.

Sup guys my pc is down right now so I won't be online as much but the trunk is in great condition. The spoiler needs to be replaced. I went and got my self a Wings West Flush Mount Spoiler off a TL last week and it's installed so I just did not want to spend any more money in to it the CF trunk. Driven will post of pics so if anyone is intrested let me or Driven know. I'm sure I can hang around at work on v6p but I won't be on as much for a short time due to my home PC getting having hardware issues.

well theres different places you can get it. You can get another scion spoiler on ebay. You can get different flush mounts for the sedan, for example the one that dre has on his car right now is TL Wings West flush mount spoiler, which looks and fits really nicely.

heres the link to import fan.

http://www.importfan.com/index.php?m...oducts_id=1398

as you can see its priced too 550$ on their site, and it usually costs 150-200$ for shipping on items like this, if you've ever purchased CF pieces before. Hence the 700-800$ price new. My price is NEGOTIABLE! I am welcoming all offers. Usually they're not very upfront about their prices, I will go ahead and give them a call and double check the pricing on this trunk for those that are asking about it tomorrow. -Jai

It was screwed in many places, maybe like 6 screws at least.

humm this is interesting....If i were to get it I would have the clear coat taken off and then painted the color of the car....paint it clear so you would be able to see the cf under it....those bubbles on the paint gonna be taken away if the clear is taken off and what not?

Yes it is, you can't just put any wing it has to be a lip or flush mount spoiler. Nate you could do that if you wanted. The spoiler is mounted on very good so you would have to repair the spoiler and paint it.

sure I dont see why you couldnt just sand off the clear coat and repaint it now that spoiler is already stretched. Worst case scenario you just remove it and put another flush mount on it. Just a note for you guys, this trunk is intended for show use. It may require you to adjust your trunk latch several times to get everything to fit correctly. As you can see it fits pretty darn good from the pictures I took of it on telele's car. But it is not perfect like oem is, that is just the way these trunks are. When you buy them new from import fan they arent even drilled. This trunk was custom fitted at a shop, so it fits as well as it can.
