2004 Suzuki GSX-R 750

I am selling my bike sadly to say. It is a awesome bike Yellow/Black 2004 GSXR 750. It has 3000 miles on it, with a carbon fiber Akrapovic race pipe on it, Michelin Pilot Powers, all the footpegs and levers were powdercoated black to match the frame, also a hot bodies undertail with the hot bodies fluchmount signals for the front. I am asking $7600 for the bike and willing to meet for pickup. I am located in Lynchburg,VA. You can post here or send me an PM or email at [email protected]

I'm going to school at Virginia Tech and haven't rode it in 2 months. I only rode it on the weekends over the summer when I could. I had a 99 GSX-R 600 last year and rode that one for 6000+ miles in a summer, I thought I would want another one so I bought this one but it turned out I don't ride as much as I used to so there isn't a point for me to keep it. It is in MINT condition and has been garaged kept the whole time. I hope somebody will ride this bike more than me.

Excuse my ignorance on the bike scene, I'm still learning, but is that "too much" bike for a beginner? I'd like to get a bike within the next few months but I'm still doing my homework. I've never owned or riden a sport bike.

No Its an OK beginer bike, just depends on how you drive. I had a 600 and sold it to get the 750 but will never buy a 1000 there just too much for me. The 750 is the same as the 600 just a 20hp more. It enough to give you that extra power that you will want once you ride the 600s. I love the bike, it has all the power you will ever need. My friend has never riden a bike before but he was able to ride a 750 with no problem. Its all in the wrist and how much you want to feel that power. It can run 10s in a 1/4 mile and 4th gear topped out at 160 with 2 gears to go, I quit when I reached that speed. Mainly the bike was used on sundays to ride with my friends through the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hope somebody will like it enough to buy it.
