Smile Selling PS2 120GB Hard Drive, HD Advance 2.0, and Network Adapter

UPDATE: still for sale for $90 for the whole package, local pickup guys, Orange County, CA.

Selling brand new Maxtor 120 GB DiamondMax Internal Hard Drive, fits inside Playstation 2 with included Sony Network Adapter. Also including HD Advance 2.0, not a copy, stamped version, so with this stuff you can back up games to your PS2.

Works on the fat PS2 only, not the slim one.

No need for a mod chip or anything to use it, that's it.

Also, no more load times really, and don't need the games anymore once you burn em to the huge 120GB hard drive. Not that I'm encouraging people to rent games and save them to their hard drive.. not at all. I never even got to format the hard drive.

I never even got to use the stuff unfortunately, I hooked it all up, but my old PS2 has finally died, doesn't want to read anymore games. So my loss, is your gain. Brand new stuff, never got to use them.

Make me an offer, HD Advance 2.0 retails for 30, the Network Adapter is hard to find but can be found for 25-30 bucks, the hard drive is a really nice one at 120 GB from Maxtor, no cheapie Western Digital stuff.

Local pickup only, Orange County, CA.

This is where it goes in the back of the PS2, I'm including the official network adapter.

This is the hard drive I'm including.

This is the HD Advance 2.0

maybe so, but their drives don't fit into the network adapter, you'd have to modify the adapter

Unfortunately it doesn't fit in the slim PS2, I believe there is some other kind of setup for that.

How much you willing to pay akabangz? I might be in the LA sometime to look at a car, so maybe we can meet somewhere there. Are you interested in only the HD Advance actually?

sorry for not being savvy on this, but what does the network adapter do?

how difficult is it to install the hard drive?

and, what ball park range are you looking at?

I don't want to offer something that might insult you since i'm not really sure how much these things go for and what not.

I'll be in So Cal next week so I can pick it up depending on your asking price..

the back of the network adapter has the power plug and ide connector, so you simply plug the hd into the network adapter than slide it in the back of the ps2.. i've been using it for a while and i like it much better.. the wait time is dramatically reduced..

You start the system with the HD Advance disk, then you choose that you want to burn a game to the hard drive, then you put in the game, and it'll burn it to the hard drive, takes a few minutes.

Then, when you restart with the HD Advance disk, it'll show the list of games you have burned. no more need for the game disc
