FS: 2001 Honda Accord LX V6

Well, I have had this car for a little bit. But gas is getting to be a bit pricey to running a V6 30miles (roundtrip) everyday. The car is a good car in general. It has been washed and cleaned weekly. Currently has 107k miles, mostly highway from previous owner. I never raced the car or done anything stupid with it. The 3.0L V6 has plenty of potential, its seems to have a little more power down low than the TL. Its a fire peppermint red which is hot. Has a facotry wing, and a few little other cosmetic things. Sits on 18s, i will try to get stock rims if you want.

Asking $12k or best offer

If you want to know anything else just ask.

im baffled to why you would ask 12k for your car... just how did you come up with this number??

you do realize when it was brand new, people were getting cars like these for right around 20k +tax/fees.

6 year and 107000 miles later, you think it only depreciated 40%??

umm, he got that number by looking at the current market price for accords...

dealerships are still gettin ~15 or 16k for one in good condition, when i sell mine i plan to ask more than 12 initially.

and he does say OBO.

why do you feel the need to belittle his fs thread?

my dealership regularly sells 6th gen v6 accords with his mileage for right around 9k and still have a very hard time getting that much.

i have a green exl v6 coupe with 89k selling for 8998.

15-16k accords are all 03+ 7th gen exl or v6 with low mileage ususally still have part of the factory warranty left.

people have such a hard time selling their used car because one reason, they have a completely false sense of what their car is worth.

it's bad enough people thinks they can get kbb value for their car (which is usually 15-20% too high at private party). now you have someone here asking for 3000 above kbb private, 1000 over kbb retail, and that's fair market value??

as for obo, just because you add it to the end, it doesnt mean anything. even when someone comes out with a number and say it's firm, give them a close enough offer and they will budge. while here, this particular accord is worth roughly 8000, most likely less, espeically since it's modded, red, and high mileage.

now as for you asking 12k for your car. you can. but you can take a look at this thread, he's been selling for 3 month, there is a reason why he havent been successful.
