FS: Sony DSC-F707

have had this camera over a year, but only used maybe 50hours collectively.

it just lacks features of a "pro" camera, but it's excellent for someone who wants to try shooting with more than just a point and shoot.

i still have the box, wires, manual, cables. just don't have the CD (don't even remember it coming with one, but windows recognizes the camera so no driver installation required)

asking for around $350 to $400. i've seen it go on ebay for about $500, and online pawnshops for $450 (missing parts).

lemme know if interested... here's the camera; http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sonydscf707/

i can take actual pics of the camera if you need/want it. NYC area preferred, but can ship also for $400

photobucket resized some of these, so excuse them

^^ that pic was taken at 11:32pm (nearly midnite, in pitch black with shutter/aperture settings modified)

this was also at night, but with some lighting help (halogen lamp) and just tinkering with aperture settings.

i have more on full size if you need. i'm selling this camera because i found a great deal on a nikon d50 and the d50 has the features i need that this lovely camera doesn't offer (mainly interchangeable lenses)

yes, it has the night shot option which turns things to green. not sure what kind of night pics are you talking about?

still night shots, you can adjust the shutter/aperture and leave the lens open to allow more light to enter, and you can shoot still images like daytime

active nightshots you have the option to use it, and take pictures coming out like green coz of the filter.

you can also adjust the flash setting to brightest if you need lighting, and plug in an other source of light for support, like an external flash.

this camera has a ton of features, like i said... pretty much the only reason i'm giving it up is because it doesn't have interchangeable lens
