i have heard that some r hid compatible some aren't...
so i kind of want to know everything...
is it hid compatible? does it come with any hid components which i highly doubt..
just asking questions as you would expect a potential buyer too..

thanks

Because you won't ship, simple. Otherwise you would have had these off your hands a long time ago, seeing that you've been trying to sell them since last summer.

For everyone's info, these require D2R HID bulbs for low beams and 9006 halogens for high beams. There are two additional lights as well, seperate signals and parking lights which are not plug 'n play. Turn signals require TL turn signal socket, and parking lights require 6th gen Accord parking light socket. Also, these are JDM headlights so they will blind oncoming traffic since they're made for right hand drive cars. You will need to re-aim the lights lower to reduce the glare and then you'll be OK.

Lastly, they do not come with the HID hardware for the low-beams. You will need to purchase a HID kit, preferably OEM, not rebased. There are hidden costs and a lot to do on these lights before they're made to function properly on USDM cars. Having said that, they're awesome and the exclusivity they award the owner worth it if you don't mind the work that's involved.

oh, and the bases are not the same. the d2s has a notch in the outter center and on the outter right side that fits in the housing. the d2r has a notch in the outter center and on the outter left side (looking from the bottom, placing into a housing).
