FYI> On the auction you reference the warranty...since it's a Cingular branded device, you could put on there that they honor the 1yr replacement warranty...two day turnaround time. Good selling point

Just helping you out with my testimony of the product...

I have an unlocked GSM Palm Treo 650 with a 1GB SD card. Seriously, if you know how to use this thing, it does EVERYTHING you can imagine.

-Load on episodes of your favorite TV shows, music videos, or dvds. I have two episodes of the Chappell show and four music videos for fun. It's like an iPod video in your pocket. With a speaker (or if you buy the stereo headphones like me it works well). The animation doesn't lack at all, and you can still run other programs at the same time.
-Avenuu works pretty darn good. If I forget an excel or word file at home I can have it downloaded to the Treo or if I need it printed, emailed from the Palm to my workplace to print.
-Bluetooth sync it to a GPS receiver and with TomTom you have a portable navigation system just as good as any other system and a heck of a lot cheaper. Even with basic, free mapping programs on it, I've gotten out of bad situations of being lost.
-Never have to lug a real Bible to church anymore.
-Get the sports scores, always keep up with weather, news, etc... because you're wirelessly connected to the web all the time. The power went down in my house today due to the storm and I just logged on AIM to continue my chatting and played music on RealPlayer the entire day.
-If you need to respond to certain emails instanteously, you can while on the go. I have to admit I've had a few of these instances since I've gotten the device.

You have to restart it once in a while and it'll jam if you load on crappy programs, but aside from that, if you use it right, it will organize your life to the tee. I had 47 appointments for my organization in the past 3 months and I didn't miss one since I had the Treo. The only thing I can't do with it (or shouldn't do) is take it snowboarding with me. My tip: keep a beater phone around and/or a bluetooth headset if you like to do outdoorsy things.

The new 700 is coming out but in all honesty, it's not worth the extra pricetag because they never added on the worthwhile changes (still no wi-fi, no internal antenna, etc). The Windows Mobile version (700w) is reportedly slower than the Palm OS version so the faster processor doesn't necessarily mean it's faster at all. Just buy this and ask questions later - it's pretty darn worth it.

I have a Palm Zire 72 which is the exact same PDA the 650 is based off of without the GSM/EDGE receiver and I love it...all the same things that Jon said
