FS: Dell 2.8ghz p4 Laptop

Well finally got my other laptop back from Dell, but I got impatient and bought a desktop and another laptop while it was being fixed so I have no use for it now lol.

The HD on it was toast, so its got a brand new harddrive and fans.

I have to reload XP on it, but basic specs:
-2.8ghz pentium 4
-512 ram
-Ati radeon 9700 pro card
-widescreen monitor
-80gb hd
-modular bay w/ cd burner (dvd reader) and floppy drives included
-etc etc, if I'm forgetting something ask.

The laptop is basically a desktop replacement... for gamers it ran HL2 & CS:S at like 80fps iirc. Handles any kind of graphic work fine, when I bought it I needed it to be able to handle multiple files in photoshop simultaneously as well as other programs and it does all of that.

Battery life is what you would expect from a laptop like this, around 1.5 hrs depending on what you're doing.

Will post pics later tonight. Looking for $800, serious offers considered, or partial trades for car audio stuff (daddy needs a new HU). Paid $2200 for it, but computers aren't known for their resale value.

its a laptop, powerful enough to keep up with most desktops. that's what I meant by desktop-replacement.

bought the laptop for freshman year 2 years ago. like I said, it was just fully repaired & checked out by Dell, but I don't need it anymore.

i'm not really sure what you want pictures of lol, but I'll be happy to take more for you if you tell me what it is you'd like to see

Looks like mine. Inspiron 9100? If so, it should be an Intel Pentium 4 2.80GHz with either 512MB of ram or 256MB. Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller. Dell Truemobile 1400 Dual Band WLAN Mini-PCI Card. 4 USB ports. DVD/CD-R drive. IEEE 1394. ATI Mobility Radeon 9700. Can't remember the rest. I have the spec sheet at my parent's house somewhere. It's a good computer though. It's last me these past few years and still running strong.

Sounds good, I'll get some pics tonight of that for you. There is about 2 years of complete warranty (full replacement for anything - including accidental breakage) left on the computer I doubt that is transferrable. I can check though.

Yup, that's al correct. 512mb of ram. And it is a pretty strong running laptop, I just have no need for it now that I have 2 other computers.
