Cool GT-HID Kits Group buy $180 shippped!

Background:
Balance between price and quality. Six months ago my roommates and I were looking for some HID kits. We heard lots of horror stories from our friends about cheap ebay kits. So we decided to look sample a few. We bought 4 different kits to test and the quality ranged greatly. We saw cases were made of plastic that became soft as the temperature increased, separate igniters that cracked open with no force and some ballast with no waterproofing at all. The most disturbing was the Techone kit that had 2 very different color bulbs. We decided that the GT-HID kits were the best quality because, they have stainless steel and powder coated ballast. The ballasts have built in igniters and are completely filled with waterproofing material. They ballast also ran much cooler after a one hour test compared to the other kits.

Of the 4 samples we found that GT-HID was the highest in quality, but it was also the most expensive. duh…. Our friends really liked the kits it so we started ordering more and more kits which led to starting group buys. My roommate has been selling these kits on the Mazda forums for a while so I thought it would post it here.

** 1-14 kits $180USD shipped per kit in the US **
** 15-24 kits $175USD shipped per kit in the US **
** 25+ kits $170USD shipped per kit in the US **

Canadian orders add $20

Payment due May 11th before midnight

** THESE ARE FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY **

This is a formal Bulk Buy for the GT-HID HID conversion kits. The group buy will operate within a time. After the time period we will place an order directly from the manufacturer. This allows us to offer these kits at the affordable price of $180 shipped per kit. We decided to change the rules because we are now selling enough kits from different forums to not have a minimum. We have also worked out a deal with manufacture to give us price breaks. The price breaks will include all the buyers from different forums.

Here's a link to the former successful group buy on mx6.com

The following temperatures and bulb types will be offered at $180 shipped.

hmmm....$245 is really far away from $180. it's illegal to not have high beams though right? i don't like the idea of having the halogen and HID bulb on the same base.

the HIDs will be a lot brighter so you might not need the high beam, but its a good idea high them just in case.

the 3000k should look the same as any other GT HID kit. all kits run 35W unless you get 50W ballast for a retrofit, 50W is just for bright without projectors.

I have been running 50W ballast for months and my TSX projectors are fine. they will mostly likely run hotter but not hot enough to damage anything. The TL projector is pretty solid.

So are you waiting for the list to fill or do you have enough buyers from other forums that I can go ahead and get one now? I have a friend who wants a set for his AV6 coupe. How much is a 9006 6000k kit?

I put in a order every couple of weeks so yea all it really takes is like 3 kits. I dont think the list will grow that fast so we can do small orders without the discount. All bulb types and k ratings are 180 shipped in the US.

Are the 3000K H1 set mount directly to my H1 base on my car? Are the bulbs longer, etc?

I'm very interested.
