i blew my type R today and im pissed. does anyone have a 12" sub (preferably another type R) that they're willing to let go of? thanks.

Infinity Kappa = Great sub and very hard hitting with punchy movement.

my blown sub

is this what happened to you? or did you do some other damage..... mine seems like it can be fixed. i tried to glue the surround back but it came out again. any ideas or should i just buy another sub? take a look....

not quite...it looks like the cone is commin off yours. you could try to fix it but i would just get something else. Since its a dual voice coil sub, only one of my coils blew...or thats what it sounds like. it doesn't hit anymore it just rumbles. thats what happened to mine.

i know Infinity makes great subs, i really want another type r though but i'll still consider. whats the rms and max watts of that sub and how much do you want for it?

I've got a 12" rockford fosgate punch HX2.. 1000 watts max power handling. Dual 2 ohm voice coils.. I'm in PA too for school in Gettysburg, but i'll sell it for $60 shipped

ok cool... it's in great shape, i used it for about 2 years running only 300 watts rms and 800 peak into it so it was never pushed hard. Just out of curiosity, where are you located?
