FS: Westinghouse 37" 1080p w/ free dvd player

I'm selling my Westinghouse 37" 1080P tv.

bought it my last year of college.. and it's been about, 5 months since I've had the TV. I used it during the last 1 1/2 months at school, and now it's at home sitting in my garage.

Total Usage : 1 1/2 months
Total Garage time : 3 months

If anybody wants to pick it up, i'll throw in a Phillips 1080i upconversion dvd player for free. Saw it yesterday for 69.99 yesterday.

on ebay, REFURBISHED, it's 728.99 shipped.

including the dvd player, it's about $800, non refurbished item used for 1 1/2 months.

Picked up, $750 FIRM.

anybody who knows tvs know that the Westinghouse 1080p is the least expensive but much better than LG, Panasonic, and even Sharp and other 1080p tvs. (i would know when compared with LG, i work here )

if you want to know more about it, check out www.avsforum.com

PS3 and XBOX360 looks amazing on this thing =)

if interested, please email [email protected]

OC, and edoubledeyee, show me where you can get it for that. recertified? already been used for who knows how long and dont even know who used it? accord03 is my roommate and he knows how long i've had this tv for and the condition i kept it in. If i was to buy a tv used, i'd buy it knowing the condition it was used in. By the way, mine's $100 more expensive after throwing in a dvd player and NOT being recertified.

yes, Sharp 1080p tvs are good, but i like the crisper images rather than the smudged quality where it looks really clean from far away. I used this as a monitor also so wanted clarity from close.

westinghouse makes good tvs... and 1080p is deffinately tops. i have a sony 1080p and its amazing... if you have ps3, xbox360, or an hd dvd player, you HAVE to have a 1080p tv...

after watching blu ray, high definition tv (football games, movies, etc.) honestly looks blurry to me.

By the way...

AMAZING price on a 1080p tv!!!! you will not find a good quality one for less than 1500 dollars

thanks 06nighthawkav6. it's very true that you have to have a 1080p tv now for any sort of quality game system/dvd player. Again edoubledeyee, i believe my tv is in a better condition than a refurbished tv, which means that there was a previous problem with that tv and they had to send it back to get it repaired.

my tv was used for less than 2 months and had been boxed since. i've played xbox 360 and played numerous movies on my 1080i upconverting phillips dvd player, which also comes equipped with a USB port so that you can hook up your portable hard drive or computer to watch dled movies, which i did.

$750 for both units, i think, is an amazing price. check on ebay and see if this is a bad deal.

been boxed for 3 months so if ya want it, $750 and pick up is in Fullerton, CA.

btw, i would never buy something that's been refurbished. takes too much time to deal with the problem if it breaks down again plus, it's like buying a salvaged car for cheap. would you do it?
