Comptech Supercharger F/S (00-02 AV6)

I am in the process of removing the SC from my 00 AV6. This is the kit with the HB pulley. I should have it all out this weekend. I am getting the the parts clean prior to selling. It's the complete kit with Icebox and Fuel pump. This S/C has been in my car for just under 2 yrs. My AV6 has been garaged and collecting dust for over a year now.. Time to sell it and make room in the garage. I am in Gaithersburg MD if anyone wants to stop by to see it. Think $1500 is a fair price for the kit.

Thx,

Ben.

And if you need some tuning to go with your Supercharger w/ HBP (it's not really an "if", because you will), I've got an e-Manage package for 00-02 AV6s too you can buy on the cheap with the leftover cash you have from this CRAZY STEAL OF A DEAL for a supercharger package.

Seriously, $1,500 is a steal! No, it's more than a steal. It's like, he's giving it to you. If someone doesn't jump on this, all of you are nuts. And I don't count, since I don't have an AV6 anymore.

^Probably like $50-$80 for ground, would have to get a weight and size to get a quote + maybe $10 for a bunch of buble wrap tape and boxes.

If this guy were in California, he'd already have sold it. There is no logical reason other than distance and shipping issues that this thing should not be sold by now.

I'll always remember the horror story of having a supercharger shipped, where another member here got his blower's shaft snapped in shipping... and he got shafted. Hyuk hyuk hyuk. Free bump, b*tch*s.

It shouldn't, because you need a different elbow.

that was just because of poor packaging.

you always seem to hear the worst stories because it's most likely to be mentioned and most likely for others to be remembered. When it's good, it's good and it's yesterdays news.

It doesnt fit a CLS, you'll need to buy the elbow. I think i recall someone selling it on here.

Not a bad price, pics would be nice however. It would be a shame to have to spend hundreds of dollars to retro the kit back into working order.

I've shipped a SC intact with no problems just takes patience and a bunch of foam, examples below:

Yeah your going to need the elbow since the IM bolt/stud pattern is different. The J32 elbow is $212 from Comptech, basically the holes don't line up. Not the best pic since The J30 elbow shown was modified to fit the J32 IM which i'll tell you right now required some welding.
