FS: Selling my custom Turbo Kit for 6th Gen V6.

Hey Guys,
Im new to the forum but I just wanted to list my custom turbo kit that we used for test fitment on my car a while back. Everything is pretty much brand new. The turbo is a Garrett T3/T4 with .82 exhaust housing, full stainless steel piping, Burns Stainless merge collector & piping used for the manifolds, Tial wastegate & blow off valve, intercooler, & V band clamps. Im trying to buy an engagement ring for my girl & since we stop the project build for the v6 I have no other use for it. I would prefer for local pick up only so I dont have to tax for shipping, but if I need to I will ship it. Im asking for $2,800.00 or O.B.O. Feel free to message me or call me on my cell phone @ (818)665-9170 & my name is Ed.

Sorry guys, no pictures of the turbo kit installed only because I wanted to wait until the kit the fully completed first so I can snap pictures of everything. But when I had the time to take pictures we ended the project & decided to sell it. Im sorry I really dont want to part the kit out.

What were you trying to find out specifically about the downpipe routing?

From what i remember when we had the kit on there were no clearance issues, just had to relocate the battery. For me I didnt have the stock front bumper on so i didnt really have issues with the front bumper not clearing the intercooler. So for a stock front bumper there is probably gonna be some minor trimming involved.

For those of you that dont know that quality of these manifolds & products check out www.burnsstainless.com

I was gonna comment those manifolds look like the best ive seen for a turbo kit for the av6...

regarding the downpipe, I was worried about clearance, alot of previous kits have the downpipe routed below the subfram, leaving it dangerous close to the ground...
But it looks like you guys notched yours so that it goes above the subframe..

I'll try to get a shop of the full length of the down pipe for you, but im located in chatsworth. If you want we can set up a meeting @ where I work so you can look @ it in person & you can tell me what you think.

It will fit all J series motors, but for CL & TL the piping needs to be slightly modified in order to fit.

Well when you go turbo, you should run colder spark plugs generally & the battery needs relocation because of the piping.

Who did the manifolds? They look very well done, any way to get another set of manifolds?

This kit will work with A/C and everything correct? How much boost were you running? Did you have it dyno'd?

It seems that we always had work to do on Siggys car both maintanence and just general modifications and lets not forget diagnostics sometimes we would swap parts to help each other.

NOS is probably the worst because you need to prep your car for it with colder plugs better clutch etc but you never have the power until you spray otherwise the other times your just inefficiently running NA.

The kit worked with a/c, i had to make sure the kit would work with a/c especially because of the summer weather in so cal. We never had a chance to dyno the car or find out how much boost we were gonna run. The only reason is that we ended the project prematurely thats all.

Just so you guys know, you should have no clearance issues with either the transmission whether its automatic or stick shift & ground clearance.
