[SOLD]: Accord 6th Gen S2000 Retrofit Complete $700 - EXCELLENT!!
I am selling a complete DEAL for anyone looking for HID retrofits for their Accord.
This cost over $1100 for me to assemble together, I loved having this on my honda but since I put her back to stock and it's now sold, you get the benefit.
--HID was used for a little over 2 Years on my Accord see post http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ad.php?t=35542
--6th Gen V6 folks will need to undo the bolt holding their washer fluid reservoir to the front of the frame to get the room needed for the projector (which doesn't affect the operation)
What you get for $700 Shipped (shipping included for continental US only (please don't PM me with Low ball offers) INTL buyers may be a little extra just need to do an estimate on shipping
- 6th Gen DEPO Headlights (these were bought new from rockauto as OEM replacement lights) fitment is EXCELLENT.
- S2000 HID Projectors.. see cutoffs, excellent purplish color, crystal clear. lights also align properly
- (you don't use the parking lights in these lights.. leave the bulbs out.)
- Hella Gen3 Ballasts - excellent
- Wire Harness w/relay and fuses (don't install a retro improperly!)
- D2S 4100K Philips bulbs - used.. been in the car about 2 years, below average use time on these bulbs since I telecommute most the time.
- Other notes: to protect my investment I installed 3M Rock Blockers on the lights. (It kept any rocks from destroying by retrofit.) This is an added $100 value.
- Lights are leak-FREE
- PayPal gladly accepted but will not ship until check clears.. CC orders add 3% extra for paypal charges.
Thanks for your interest!

I think its because of the picket fence.. unfortunately I do not have the lights installed anymore, there is some color mod to the projector to give a little more blue/purple at the cutoff as well.

ok this is the only shot I could get tonight wiring up a battery charger in my dining room shooting a pic with one of the lights on a milk crate kind of towards the ceiling..
I will try and wire both lights up and get some good distance shots in the garage this evening if time permits.. Thank you again for the interest. I can't believe i got no cutoffs while these were still in the car, this is quite challenging, i didn't have a small bulb for the power supply so that wasn't exactly working for me, thanks again

custom shrouds.. yes
D2R bulbs?? vs D2S.. would better close ups help? from the pics I've seen of both online, they appear to me to be D2S bulbs and that's what i was told I was buying when i got em years ago.... i'll see if I can get a macro up close of the writing..
i'm not positive of the difference b/w the bulbs i know they aren't eh "purplish burning bulbs.. ' they are 4100K.. not 8000K or higher
I agree the cutoff looks very odd in THAT photo from my ceiling which is why i'm kicking myself for not getting better distance shots.. when these were in the friggin car
i'll try again tonight with a setup against my garage door.. i have only 8ft ceilings and that was on a crate which makes the distance about 6 ft or so which is why i think the cutoff looks a bit weird.. tack on i think it was angled towards the ceiling, etc etc.. i'm trying not to electrocute myself as this is rigged to a jumper battery set.. you get the picture.
In looking at some comparison shots from hidplanet the shots look like those from S2000 projectors that' i've seen there again from folks shooting on their ceiling.. i KNOW that cutoff looks better than what i posted online from a distance
They are definitely S2000 projectors.. this was again from about the year 2004 in July, so I have no clue what year projectors they are either 2004 S2000 or 2003
also.. the cutoff sheild in the projector was modified to give a little bluish color at the cutoff.
Thanks again for the interest..

its daylight here in Richmond, but we go to the garage in search of good cutoffs..
like my window treatments? Just so you have a reference of the amount of light in the room already. here's a pic fo the setup with the retro/electrocution contraption OFF..
Even my garage door was giving a reflection of the cutoff and I KNEW YOU FOLKS WOULD COMPLAIN! so I put some posterboard up for the clearest shot possible..
Someone please take this great setup! Its a shame this is in my attic!

normally s2Ks i think have zero color at the cutoff these as you can see have puplish blusih tinge which gives it a neat look when you're following someone especially what they see when you're coming... I liked these lights so much.. checkout HID planet for some interesting comparisons.. what's nice about the S2k's is they are nice and clean and fit well in the car.

I'm looking at the price, and I am looking at the pictures.
I'm located in Fairfax, so i can drive down one day, and possibly pick those up from you.
Are you willing to negotiate on the price?
