Yessir, other than having a Bassani true dual Xhaust, it's stock. It's close to average, but a little low, for a stock VQ35HR.

Yup. You can tell the difference by the dual intakes. The previous engine is the VQ35DE which has a single intake entering from the rear of the engine and curving off to the drivers side.

So I guess my cat swapping idea is shot. He said the 2.5" test pipes had a weird alignment, and instead of f'ing with the test pipes, he just tried his 3" downpipe and it worked fine. So he is giving me the 3" downpipes for the same price as the 2.5" test pipes. But that makes swapping the cats in a whole new PITA, so I may need to figure out another plan there.

Just a couple of pics with the bumper back on (still not final fitment) and of the new radiator hoses.

I really need to talk with him about an end date. This feels way to open loop at the moment. It's been a month already. I'm considering just flying out and driving it back to avoid the stress of transporting it again. Probably cheaper to do that anyway and way more fun.

Thanks. I've actually been pretty impressed with the 350Z platform since I've bought it. It's a damn good car for what you pay for it. And now it's going to be destroying some supercar a$$.

I shipped my car to CA from CO. I've had it for 2 years before doing this.

Pic of the HKS EVC-S in what used to be the worthless sunglasses holder location. Pretty stealth up there.

No updates unfortunately. I decided to have them build be one of their 3" dual exhausts instead of waiting to see how well the Bassani 2 1/4" did with the TT. I should be able to sell the Bassani pretty easily. They also installed an HKS turbo timer type 1 up with the boost controller. The big delay now is waiting for the blue LED conversion on all the gauges to be done, which is unfortunately out of GTM's hands. Trying to be patient, but it's killing me. I want my car back.

Jesus Christ this is taking way longer than it was supposed to. And now GTM's owner is going to be out of the country for two weeks starting tomorrow. So no chance of getting her back until sometime in November.

Finally got some pics. The gauges, etc., seem to be done and installed. I think the purple halos are from the red dials mixing with the blue leds. Kind of cool, but also kind of weird, I wasn't expecting it to be that bright. I hope it isn't really annoying at night. The radio didn't come out as I had hoped either... hopefully just a bad exposure.
