Who recommended me a mechanic near Castle Rock??

I forgot who recommended me a mechanic near castle rock a few months back? I need his number again, maybe it was you Smithz? But the thread was deleted, and if whoever recommended him to me please post his info again - it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Jason

I got the cams for 230 shipped as a kit with all the bolts and stuff needed. I got it from a member here, but I think it costs 250 from acuraautomotiveparts. I think it was worth it, it pulls really hard in the high end but it does take away from your low end. If you do some research about it on here, a lot of people have posted their results and feelings about it - most people have positive things to say about it. The only fall back is the installation price, it costs more than the parts (as most things do). And another thing is that you have to have a tuned VAFC or a UNICHIP to get the full gains from this mod. Other than that...great mod, if you have some money to spend. If not...get pulleys...those were the 2nd best mod for speed.

yeah i already have the pulleys but im torn between audio or more performance. so if i do go the performance route what do you think would be better the unichip or vafc.

do you have any pics of your black calipers? I want to paint mine also but i don't know what color.

Ill take pics later when I wash my car.

I would agree with Duece, the price difference is big between those 2 items. I say if you have the money for a unichip, get that. The unichip wasnt out when I got my vafc, so I didnt really have a choice for an engine managment unit. If i could do it again, i'd probably get the unichip - nothing but good reviews on it, but then again after you spend 500-700 bucks - your mind wont allow you to say bad things about it. haha

I dont recommend doing any engine mods...i've done basically all the bolt-ons available for the av6, and Im not impressed with the results. If I could do it over again, I wouldnt have got any of my engine mods and saved up for the supercharger.

What car audio do you have in mind and what interior mods do you have in mind?
