J32a2 s/c Accord dyno

Got on dyno today & they are having problems wireing the AEM FIC to my car. So they put in the bypass wire harness & I ran untuned. I made 306 whp & 301 wtq. Only ran once. Will go back in a few weeks after we figure out the wiring & get tuned & dyno again. My set up is;

Stock j32a2 engine w/ j30 intake
CT s/c w/ custom pulley on s/c shaft
RC310 injectors
CT Headers into custom 3" exhaust
Stock j30 ECU
Stock j30 auto tranny

Im hoping w/ the tune I can get another 15-20 whp w/ some more TQ to follow. I will be going to Bradenton speedway to run the 1/4 mile sometime in November after the tune. Looking for a 12.7-12.9 run w/ traction.

The tranny's pretty much done, but its got 126k on it so thats not to bad. The d4 light has been blinking in the morning a little, but not when it warms up. Im trying to decide if I want to change over to the 5speed auto and CL-s ecu or stick w/ what I got. It depends on if the FIC I got can change the vtec engagement point or not. The cl-s engages at 4800rpm & the Accord is at 3500 rpm. If it can be changed I might go w/ the 5 speed set up, lower the vtec to 3500rpm & my rev limiter will be up to 7200rpm w/ the cl-s ecu.

The dyno's the cheap part. Its only $25 a run. Everything else is expensive.

Nice numbers. J30a1 intake? Do you mean the intake manifold or intake piping? Either way, change it! Lol. If that trans goes, why not swap to a 6MT? $$$ but gainsssss.

I used my j30 intake from my j30 motor, port matched to the cl-s runners. It seems to have more of a direct path then the cl-s intake & I didn't have to find a cl-s Ct s/c elbow. I took off the end of the j30 intake and blocked it off. Can't go with 6 m/t, wife drives it still.

Got tuned today. Made 310whp & 313wtq. Most of the gains were between 3500-5500 with 8-10 whp & 10-12 wtq gains in that rpm range. No more dip in a/f in the mid range. Car idles better on hot starts. Switched to the areomotive 1:1 FPR. They had to pull timing back, he said because it wasnt getting enough gas. Dont know what kind of gains I would get w/ some bigger injectors, I have the rc310cc now.
