Let's see, given an average 22.5% drivetrain loss you're probably making about 230CHP and 196CTQ.

I know, I just wanted to see how it compared to what the "factory" claims we have, not that I am going by what they tell me. Its just something I want to know.

I beleive its a seperate dynamometer, i think its referred to as a "chassis dyno", thas what measures your hp/tq numbers at the crank, but it requires your engine to be taken out of the car n put on the dyno..

More like 5whp. 10 whp if you have a REALLY good tuner. 12 would be a stretch and really pushing it. Just depends on how much you're willing to lean out the engine and how much of your safety margin you're willing to eliminate.

infamous was able to pull out 18whp with basically what illegal has on his car, but I guess it depends on the person doing it.

Before my Field V-AFC was tuned I had 183 to the wheels. Once it was tuned I was running a average of 198 and I hit a max one day of 201. The guy that tuned my car is like a GENIUS at this stuff. He could tune a car in his sleep!

Your Torque number is legit at 149 ft/lbs but your REAL HP is only about 160-165.

Unfortunately the dyno picks up that wierd spike after 6,200 rpm's which throws off the peak HP reading.

That is actually very simliar to what my car is putting out with my 15's on. (Unfortunately my dyno's are in 2nd gear though so its kinda hard to make an equal comparison)

Looks like all the power from your mods is being eaten up by your 18's. Put stockers back on and re-dyno.

From what I have learned, power is actually attained peak at around a 12.9:1 to 13:1 ratio. Any leaner and you're sacraficing power for economy, any richer and you're just causing rich misfires.

Yeah do that and see what your car can really do . Don't let looks (rims) hurt your cars potential to go faster.

Nice numbers.

I kinda wish that someone in here could get a hold of a Honda Wiring diagram for an AV6 so we could energize the 3rd gear solenoid in the transmission and get a dyno run from 1500 - 6300 rpm. The majority of the dyno's I've seen on here start at like 3200 rpm or so and that's almost were VTEC engages.

im going again on Friday, and also getting VAFC tuned. So lets see what kinda #'s I pull this time hehe.

Also i'm going to have my stock rims on, so that will probably add to the higher #'s.

And also also, the place im getting the vafc tuned doesn't have a DYNOJET dyno, its another type of dyno, but they're the best tuners around, so I duno, maybe i'll get tuned on a DYNOJET sometime next month..
