NEW DYNOS! (see, Im not gone...)

Got both the SRT and the GT Cruiser dyno'd on Friday. VERY pleasant results!

First the GT Cruiser:
Check out the A/F ratio....there is still a lot of power to found with some tuning!

Here is the SRT:

I should mention that the Cruiser is an automatic. That is the reason for the spike at the beginning of the graph. The hp is correct, but the peak torque can be found later down the graph. (214whp/246wtq)

Still it's very impressive, especially for an automatic .

Great results no wonder those SRTs are tearing up the road those things are pushing out a lot of power. What is that thing boosting at? 14psi?

The Cruiser is running Stage 1 with an intake and Mopar catback. It puts out about 12psi. SRT4 puts about 14psi

hmmm....nice numbers. But using SAE correction on turbo cars at altitude isn't accurate since it's meant for NA cars and results in very inflated numbers. If you have the uncorrected numbers, you can apply a modified correction formula yourself. Clint Pohler (of the infamous "SC300TT" and TurboImports.com) has a great writeup on it here.

I was waiting for someone to say something about that.....

You are right and you are wrong. You are saying that there is no need for any sort of altitude correction on turbo (FI) cars no matter what the altitude is. That is not true. Even though FI does "create" its own atmosphere, the turbo has to work harder (more psi) to produce the same results as sea level. 20psi is 20psi no matter where you are, but its all relative to your altitude. There actually are altitude corrections for FI cars as well as NA (even though they arent as drastic). Of course, so many things can vary results that it is almost impossible to compare anything other than those who used the same dyno at the same altitude....

But I am aware of all this and also got uncorrected numbers....even they arent accurate either..

What I should have said was that those numbers are the SAE corrected numbers using the standard factor (1.25). Yes, that number is primarily used for NA cars, but since the altitude affects FI as well, there needs to be a correction factor for them. DynoJet a well as many others do not that built into the program.

Just another reason why living at altitude sucks........

Ohh really?....it's been awhile since I've been on Srtforums. Yeah go for stage 3 then. I'm so tempted to get an SRT-4 myself. It's so cheap to make it go fast compared to the Accord.

Dodge designed the SRT-4 to be like that . Honda didn't bother doing the same thing to there 1998-2002 mid-sized family coupe/sedan .

why not go for stage 3 and not stage 2?? because apparently stage 3 voids your warranty.. at least thats the rumor as of like 2 weeks ago.

great numbers.. im surprised more people here didnt know what srt-4's put down stock.. the rated numbers are actually pretty close to the whp numbers, lol.
