Dyno tuning soon. Street vs Dyno

Big price difference first of all. Here's the pricing:

I know this guy. He's easily qualified. With the given equipment for street tune will I know my horsepower, is it as accurate, etc. I'm asking him too but I like 2nd opinions.

Are you asking if $20/hr is a good price for VAFC tuning they offer? But SAFC II is better unit IMO if you want to choose the Apex-i unit

Personally I'll be runnning wideband ZT-2 unit by Zeitronix for sreet testing (AFR/BOOST/EGT). However, actual dyno is neccessary.

I already have a VAFC. I want to tune my i/h/e/pullies/cams but I"m trying to figure out if it's worth paying the extra $80. When you street tune do you get your power readings (hp/tq)?

Reggie,
To tune you need something to tune with like a VAFC, SAFC, Unichip, etc. You have to tune your car in person as there is no way one can tune for you while not in the car unless you know what you're doing. This guy is in Miami, FL where I live. I'm sure there's thousands of tuners in CA.

$80 is worth the tuning as long as it delivers results . When using ZT-2 I'll get AFR/BOOST/EGT values (shown on digital display) as RPM increase while driving the car (street tune) plus can use the laptop for real time graphs or later PC for recorded data to analyze the accurate AFR behavior I interested most of all. Then I hit the dyno for true HP/TQ numbers.

So no it does not deliver hp/tq. I heard Digimoto does that, however I'm not sure hp/tq numbers will be accurate.
Stick to a specific DYNO and see a true hp/tq gain/loss
