I didn't realise that I lost so much power from the fly to the wheel. Stupid autos.

Jeez... as I recall, 98-02 V6s produce 160hp to the wheels, stock.

It seemed really low to me too, I hope it's just because of the air temp. I wish I had gotten it dyno'd before I installed the exhaust so I would know what happend.

155 whp / 145 wtq is about the norm for stock. BTW, your dyno isn't SAE corrected either, although it looks like conditions were pretty close. Basically all the exhaust did is shift your powerband up higher. So you have more power above 5k now, but probably low power below that.

Mine was actually 50 dollars for three runs, but I got 4 out of it because he messed one up.

Nope, 50 bucks is their normal cost for 3 runs. 75 if you have the air-fuel reading too, which I did. http://www.alamoautosports.com/

It's so pathetic for 6th gen. AV6 to have such low numbers with 22% drivetrain loss.

I'm actually proud that 02AV6 increased his power 100% from rediculous 156whp stock to 321whp modded.
That the same as E46 M3 guy would take stock 275-280whp and made it 560whp or take EVO IX stock 235 -240whp and increased to 480whp .

Actually, 50 bucks really is cheap for the dyno unless hooked up or done as a group dyno.

yea...if you are getting tuning done it is very expensive. My car is at hybrid dynamics in pittsburgh PA and it will cost me about 500 to get the aem ems fully tuned along w/ the turbo.
