293whp/245wtq - 2004 Acura TL 6MT

First Comptech supercharged TL 6MT - 293whp/245wtq.
Comptech also dynoed TL 5AT with 288whp/226wtq.

Here is a 6MT plot. I think about 6-7psi (will double check).
First plot stock, second supercharged

And pics .

Hmm that's nice. There's more loss in torque going from MT to AT than I would have thought.

Not so much the compression, the displacement. One of my mean Honda hatorade jokes.

Impressive hp though, should pull some nice traps.

Yeah I forgot about that when I posted earlier, so why did they do it like that?

Yeah thats what I was thinking too

Higher compression= more efficiency

Let me just toss this out to make it more interesting: *flame suit on*
Diesels have very high compression and very good torque, so how big of a factor is compression for torque as compared to everything else.

howz the traction offline? with that much whp going to the front wheels, curious to know if you have mad torque steer? i've read in magazines that the stock TL's have some torque steer issues. is that true?

True, so lower compression pistons should help out.

It helps to heat up the catalytic converters quicker so they work more efficiently.

Very true a guy I know has a TL and wanted to install it as soon as it came out but was worried of the tourque steer he would get with the SC.

Getting Tein SS or decent suspension upgrades with sticky tires will resolve torque steer.
