Exclamation My Final J30A1 Dyno

I'll post the sheet later today, but with all bolt ons and tuned VAFCII with light detonation above 6000rpm on DynoJet SAE Corrected ~50 degrees F 199WHP 171 WTQ.

Next dyno will be the CL-S Engine, Tranny, AND S/C swap

nice! i was not successful on my J30A1. why didn't you even put the s/c on your old engine first? and have fun on that before putting your J32A2?

45whp gain over stock is not bad considering only bolt ons. Now the real game begins.

impressive numbers samir. I guess finally the av6 is meeting your expectations?
You had so much trouble with the AV6. You never give up.

Best luck to you on your next project. AND POST SOME VIDEO CLIPS.
I know you have lots of great clips.

I have basically the same mods as you except for the cams and the pullies. Instead of the VAFCII I have a Unichip. What do you think my numbers might be? I've never dyno'd.

I'm also wondering how much I'd gain if I got the cams, and would I lose any low end?

jk

You would be looking at about 170whp with those mods.

Just curious, why not go the route that 02AV6 went? He has a S/C 3.5 in his 6th Gen correct? Which would yield higher numbers with relatively similar mods, the CL-S S/C or 3.5 S/C?

It sure feels like more than that. I've outrun GS-R's, Preludes, 1.8T's (audi & VW), a caddy CTS, a GS300, several 300ZX's (NA of course), several WRX's, and every other Accord I've been up against since I got my unichip.

I guess I need to dyno and really see. I don't expect a great deal but from the cars I've pulled on over the months It's got to be more than 170.

3.5 is nice and torquey, and i could have done it for alot cheaper prolly aswell, but i like to rev high, and just is more ideal for me to go cl-s s/c 6sp swap

Actually your hp is between 185-190 whp. It reads 199 because of the spike before it shifts. That's a normal glitch with our Accords. Nevertheless, still a nice run.
