my slow rice: SRI vs CAI

so i guess i be the 1st 5th gen to post up dyno haha drove an hr+ in the pouring rain and waited abt 15 min b4 got it hooked up....
just ignore the weak ass # ahhahaha ..was expecting more but i guess its aite for a 125k engine A/F seems to be pretty good, so tuning it is a waste

..done 3 runs for SRI and then put on the extension which =CAI and ran 3 more
CAI got abt 15lbs of tq more than sri around 3k rpm

blue= SRI
red= CAI

bad remarks, good remarks..all welcome

133HP FTW!1!!1!

Seriously though, I'm sure it's gratifying actually knowing what you're car puts down.

133.99 which equate to 134 biatch!!! hahah ...ya its nice to know how much power instead of guessing from mods .. overal its not bad, i just wanted to see dyno difference btween short ram and cold air ... i love the sound of my short ram and been thinking that it makes more power than my cold air but this proves that i was wrong and butt dyno sux ass .. maybe i coulda made more power from my old exhaust maybe not iono ahaha this new exhaust only a day old ... and maybe i need headers to freeup the power iono haha .. i can only dream ... as long as i make 15.99sec in 1/4 i'm happy with it and can move on

as for pricing, call 909 373 RACE and can ask for pricing ... normally 3 runs for 60

awesome work!

You would be the first person on this site to do a true intake comparison or any mod comparison on the dyno back to back since BNut waaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day. This is how you prove out products and mods, folks. Nice work.

This was done on the same dyno strapping session too, correct?

ya...there's descriptions on the bottom of dyno sheet, dyno run #3 was at 12:15:48 pm, run #6 was done at 12:25:03 pm ...same day...same dyno..same intake manufacture, same filter.. same rainy whether, + - droplets seems like each run the car makes more power ..dont know why .. maybe if i did more runs i mite get more hp, but this is just an assumption ... also when added the extension, ecu didnt get resetted for those who mite wondering

anyway thank you mr SteVTEC
