Damn, I haven't posted here in a while.
(haven't opened PS at all for that matter)
Anyways, I don't know what the whole fascination with Vector Shaded Art is, but I guess I'll jump on the wagon.
Well, I've been on the wagon already, but not with cars, limh

anywho, I started last night and it was kinda annoying. I don't know how you guys manage to do all this in photoshop. I still think Illustrator is easier

I gave up on the headlights cause well, thats just insane. So I skipped it and just pasted it there.

Holy crap that looks so good . The shine looks real while still having that cartoon look to it.

You need to do PS stuff more often

Great job Ryan

Chris I think it's shiny like that cause he left some of the parts uncovered (not painted over) He already mentioned the headlights. I can see the centercaps...

Don't know, didn't have trouble at all doing it in photoshop. First time around was rough, but then I got use to the whole process.

yea, centercaps and headlights were too much for me.
I was overwhelemed with the amount of rendering. I think I forgot the rear tire too, but other than that, everything else is painted.

Sweet job Ryan
The cell shade thing is getting to be popular among graphic artists. The new XIII (Thirteen) shooter game is all cell shade too.

Re: Re: Re: -=Yellow Evo=-

thanks for the comments.

But yea, I wasn't wondering why its so popular...I was just wondering what the hub bub with cell shading cars was all about.
I've been doing vector art for a while now (since its been the standard in graphic design)-I had just never tried it with cars till now
