first one is choppy around the (tinted) window edges

to clean that up, zoom in (scroll in with the mouse wheel or press ctrl and + to zoom) and use a tiny eraser brush and clean it up.

same for the 2nd one around the headlamps.

otherwise, good job.

Not bad

I do see a few spots where the paint didn't change color. Next time, make sure everything you want to change is highlighted .

do you make layers out of them or do you just keep it on one?

a suggestion would be, when you select your area you want to do, right click somewhere inside the selection area, and click "layer via copy" (or something like that). PS will make a layer with what you just selected.

i personally make a couple copies of teh same layer, just in case i mess up on one, i have the original selected area un-touched. with the copied layers, you can mess around til u get the look you're going for.

i think PS can go up to 100 layers.. which is a damned lot.. i've used up to about 65 layers max on all of my gfx design stuff. car chops use up about 15-20 layers for me.

Moved into the Showcase section

The selections you've made are a little jagged in some areas, what tool did you use to make the selection? i recommend using the polygonal lasso tool and zoom into your picture so you can easily see all of the curves and lines that you need to follow.

the color changes themselves are pretty good but on the TSX, i would lower the saturation or contrast a little bit because it looks too shiney and too red. you could also play with the brightness to get a good effect.

oh and if you need help with window tinting, check out my tutorial for some help, if you want.

did u do the body kit too? because that's awesome work.

the color change is a little smoother in this one, still a little blurry by the sunroof and the side mirrors. And the car looks pink, unless thats what you were going for. you should play with the "curves" and the "levels" to darken it and THEN do the color change and you'll get a much more redder car instead of having a pinkish car.
