wow dude, you've got some serious talent there. that flooded lake picture (3rd from last) looks really cool.

what camera do you use? and what kind of special lenses/settings do you use if any? i'd love to be able to take pics like these.

btw, im moving this to the Showcase section

Thanks for the comment!

The flooded lake picture was taken in Hallstatt (I'm not sure if that's spelled correctly). It was in this really amazing town in the middle of the mountains in Europe.

The camera is a Nikon D70 with a 70mm lens for that particular picture.

Some of these closeups are taken with a macro 105mm lens.

thanks for the comments!
I'm no photographer, just one of my many hobbies. From time to time I like to take a few pictures. I take hundreds of them at a time to improve my composition skills and I read a lot of articles to learn new techniques. THe hunt is the funnest part... hiking for miles, driving through windy roads, waking up at 4 in the morning to catch the sunrise in yosemite while it's just starting to snow... it's great fun =)

i love shooting cars too, it's neat because my hobbies all come together with photography. I take pix of my guitar, violin... my saltwater reef tanks ... i love hiking so I can bring the camera with me... and cars are modern masterpieces in themselves so I can take pix of those too.

Always learning! If you want me to shoot your car, I'd be more than happy to! I'm not the best by any means, but I'll try

that night shot with the guy twirling the flame sticks would have been awesome if there wasnt a blur in the back. if everything else would have been sharp, that pic would be clean!

you better bring your camera to the BAM meet! your pics would be awesome.

Yeah that was taken in Prague, on that bridge that Mission Impossible 1 with tom cruise was filmed on. I have to be proud of that picture not being more blurry, I didn't have a tripod on me and was using my leg to keep it steady while popping a squat. Yeah too bad it's blurry =(

I brought it to last year's BAM meet, but I don't think I posted the pix. I'll make it this year too if it's on a good weekend.

I installed two integra's and a civic in about 3 hours.

one integ one day, the next the next day. the civic I actually only helped =X

of course those gen2 integras are so much easier than our cars though =/ to install mine on my accord took me about 4 hours.

you'll be very happy with a D50 =) get a 4gb ultra II compact flash card for it now at buy.com, they have a huge sale on the sandisk's. I just picked one up. I can take couple thousand pix on a large size format, about 360 pure raw files as well.

Absolutely amazing pictures. I love them. You have a good level of contrast which you use, like the violin pic.
