Body: Canon EOS 30D

Pictures taken with Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 Lens: 1-8 & 11.
Pictures with Stock Lens: 9
Pictures with Canon 70-200 f/2.8L: 10a & 10b

Photos 10a,10b, and 11 were pulled from facebook which uses crappy compressions.... will provide a better sample later.

Photo 4 was actually changed but the two pics were very similar.

Photos 1-8 were hand held! So the slight blur is caused by that.

i will get the exif info for you .. i know i used a 70-300 mm lens with a 2x tele zoom and yes croped... some info white balance sunlight, spot metering and af single area on a tri pod iso 400 .. thats all i can think of for now and those are my usual moon shot settings

#4 would of been awesome if you had more of the soft effect in the water like in #1

Pictures look good though, i can now join the DSLR crew..i just got a D80

Nice pics. I'm still working on my Canon Digital Rebel 300D Just picked up the Tamron 35-75 f/2.8 I'll post some pics up later.

Also have the "nifty-fifty" 50mm 1.8, Canon 28-135 IS, Quantaray crap 70-300 and kit lens (18-55), Speedlite 430EX and 580EX

I've been debating about upgrading the body but just haven't found a good justification for it since I've been buy so much glass...lol.

I hear the rebels dont have as much in the way as functionality as the other lines. But you can use all the same lenses and lights on all other canon... iffy on the films depending on the type of lens.

yea the new bodies are a nice upgrade from the rebel line but nice glass is more important and will keep its value longer...i say get the glass you want and then decide...and remember that some of the non-canon lenses may not work if canon releases a new camera...where as canon would be alot more likely to make sure all it's own lenses work than worry about the other brands...

YUP! AVR-435 or something like that.

Im hoping to get out to more falls soon and go trail hiking.
