Good Shop recommendation

Since I'll be moving to Illinois within a month, I need a recommendation for a good shop/mechanic within the Chicago area, who is reliable and doesn't over charge. Also knows the Accord well would be a plus.

I hate those big corporation franchises, I am only looking for personal mechanic shops since they do a better job while still keeping it affordable.

What does the helms manual do? I can't be doing the work myself, I won't have a garage or place to do the work.

helms manual is just a manual on the accords for diy.

best thing to do is find an Illinois forum and ask there.

I know some guy that work at the Acura dealership around me.

RC does some good custom fab work with Hondas, like the other guy said.

It might be easier to hit up a local meet and just ask the other people where they go.

shop in naperville

There is a shop in naperville called Maximum Automotive. They do pretty good work. Not a honda specific shop. Price is higher than some other places, but cheaper than Honda. I got my front stucts replaced there. Their techs do pretty good work.
