Tints, anyone get pulled over?

My girlfriend was considering getting tints for me, but i usually have pretty bad luck with 'the authorities'. Anyone get pulled over for having tints on the driver/passenger windows?

Also, where would be a good place for to get them done? I believe Car Boutique closed down.

Whats up man, where you from??? Not much activity in the IL forum recently. Anywayz, car boutique in Wheeling closed down, but they still have one in Schaumburg, and one in the city (north side). Andy (Tool462) got his done at car boutique in Schaumburg (I think) and they did a great job on his, so yes I would recommend them. If you go somewhere else, juz make sure they have a lifetime warranty.

In Cali, it's illegal to tint the front windows but I have all of my windows are 13 percent anyways.

I just roll them down when cops are around, otherwise it's okay. I've had my tint for three year by now.

Yeah its illegal out here too. But it depends on where you are as to how strict the cops are.

you may get away with a lighter front tint, but it all depends on where you go. It sucks having to roll down windows.

Exactly, in the city, usually cops wont care, but in some of the burbs, it doesnt matter how light it is, they will ticket you.

And you really dont want to have to worry about rolling your windows down all the time, around here, especially in winter.
