In Cali I tinted my 92 Accord for $90 Bucks!!

Here they want $200 and if you dont want a line or two pieces of film in the back...is an extra $20 to $40 ....

The northeast suuuuuuuucks when it comes to the aftermarket automotive scene. Since there isn't a flood of shops that do tints tune cars swap engines, your gonna pay a premium. And since its possible to make $175-$250 for a simple tint job on a coupe no shop is going to start doing it for less. So the prices go unchallenged. I paid 175 for my coupe and got a crap job. If you know someone at a major dealership they can get it done for $150 and you get one piece rear and all computer cut.

One of my boys worked at the Herb Chambers Toyota a while ago, he might still have a connection there. I'll check though.....I might have to get mine redone the right way this time.

I wanted to keep it legal so I went 35 all around, but if I do it again I'm going 20.

Are you going to the meet in Hopkinton?

yeah...I'm planning on going. But first I wanna have my car looking strait. I have 3 things to do and it looks like the weather is helping.

1. Install a Grill and Fog lights.
2. Paint the Calipers
3. Work on the paint. I want to use the Meguars Clay and then polish it.

....and the tint would be icing on the cake.
