Exclamation Where to go for maintenence?

I'm looking to do a 90k mile maintainence I don't have a regular mechanic that I go to and there is no way in hell I'm brining my car to the dealership to get work done. I've been reading on several forums that dealerships are a complete rip-off. Does anyone have a reliable, inexpensive place that they can recommend? I want to get my timing belt changed, tranny flush, brakes inspected, suspension checked and the whole 9. Also does anyone who has had it done know how much this work will set me back?
Thanks

Chido-

I know of this place in HUDSON MASS. I bring my cars there. They changed the timing belt on my friends 99 Mitsubishi Galant for $280 I believe including parts and labor.

My mechanic might be a little closer to you than Hudson if you live in Boston. He's in Cambridge, by Alewife station. He's a good guy and is honest about stuff. He won't BS you and doesn't try to get you to do stuff that doesn't actually need to be done. He does all the work on my car.

Yeah, let me know. I'm usually down at his garage on Fridays too. It's on the corner of Mass Ave and Rt. 16. He's a good guy and has always done a good job on my cars,
