mazdas - rev it up

I had a pretty good time racing around in some of the new mazdas. I personally enjoyed driving the mazda6 because I am already used to driving a car with a heavy rear end. The mazda3's handling was a little more nimble but I prefer getting the chance to countersteer and let the rear end whip out a little bit. Fun cars to drive, but the brakes sounded aweful! Although I dont know if the brakes would be any better on a honda if they were abused as much as the ones on those mazdas were. Did anyone else here go to rev it up? -J

They aren't using stock Mazda brakes on those cars, so I am sure the more agressive pads were at fault.

are you sure? I asked about this.. we were told the most the cars had were falken azenis' and eibach lowering springs.. everything else was stock because the point of the racing was to show how well the mazdas perform.. -Jai

I ran a 34 something.. terrible.. atleast I beat all the girls.. LOL

I dont really know anything about racing on a track that small.. I just floored it the whole time and had fun. Tried to learn whatever I could while I was there.

The only kind've spirited driving I've done is racing around town.. hehe its fun when theres noone around.. can really just let it rip.. -Jai

can you post some better pics of your car? I cant see what they look like. I almost bought a mazda6 before I bought this accord. They were fun to drive and I am happy mazda gave us the experience. I love my rims, they arent the easiest to clean but I dont loath the experience
