Edward_EXV6 so... in resume... this IM is for the AT Tranny only... right???

Thats... my tranny!

worldon1finger You can not put a manual tranny manifold on a automatic because you would need to have the computer to be able to control the butterfly as well as the controller on the manifold. Too much work if even possible for very little gains. Stick with a auto manifold and port and polish it out like the op did. This is a great deal on the manifold and runners.

sy272004 THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH MANUAL TRANY just like Kschwiggy said, MT has buterfly and has connector for motor that opens it.

v6COMPTECH were all confused .. lol will this work for manual 7 gen accords ? how can we make it fit ..
July 10th, 2009 10:03 AM
JeremyG7AV6 but can you put the manual manifold and an A/T since they say the valve gives better throttle response.

King Motorsport modified Intake Manifold for 7th Gen V6 A/T

SOLDI purchased a second stock manifold from the salvage yard and had it ported and polished by King Motorsports. The plenum itself ws machined inside and the lower runners were matched and machined as well. It was then hot tanked and cleaned of all EGR and fuel residue. I remeber it costing over $200 for the service plus shipping. I am just trying to recover the cost of the service work, so Im asking $200 shipped. Pretty firm on price as it would cost you much more to have this duplicated than I am asking. I had it on the car for about 3,000 miles. I noticed an improvement in midrange torque and throttle responce post installation. Here are some pics. It is painted red wrinkle finish and gold center, similar to the F22 in the S2000.
