Or another option which, I thought about was a single din triple guage cluster (will fit cubbyhole with the aftermarket stereo kit)

DEFI also has them for sale, probably the same as the other site too. I'm pretty sure that this is the one sunnycali used but I could be wrong, It just looks a lot like it. If it is the one he used maybe he could let you know how it was fitted, I'm sure with some good fabrication it can be done.

Or you can get this one, I'm pretty sure its the same one that sunnycali has on his car. I think it sells for about 200-250

carlrx7 im just gonna go buy a three pillar guage pod, and mold it over the air vent, should cost no more than 80 bucks, again,, its alot of labor, especially with fiberglass,

must be nice to have lots of money!!

anyone know of a gauge pod for the center cubby hole?

carl.

Sorry, I didn't see your question earlier. I had a premier audio shop in the area fab up the fiberglass, I'll say my piece costed between 400-600 but you could probably get it done for a little more or a little less depending on where you go.
June 26th, 2006 05:44 AM
logonzojls I remember seeing that a while back. I think that would look sick and could very easily be done. There is plenty of open space under that compartment.

Thanks again for all the compliments guy/girls!

Good Idea, I may try that or just have them sent out to be wrapped, but again, my goal isn't really for show. Has anyone done that yet?

I totally understand you man. right now im even thinking about getting rid of the evo for something like a tsx and just make it look pretty, u know. show mods and such.
sometimes i fear driving to certain places to get pulled over by the police...its hectic in california. the weavingon the cf they did sure do look good! reminds me of the stock gauges on the 350z

i used to have some cheaper gauges too, until i upgraded to Defi not too long ago. it was a lot more expensive, more than what some ppl spend on wheels, lol. but the function to peak, record and warn makes it worth it imo.
good luck in your set up though!
