Opinions on wheel aligment

Just took my car (04 6-speed) in to the Dealer for 15,000 mile service. They recommended four wheel aligment & fuel system service. I was quoted $200 for both. I have normal tread wear on the original tires. Does anyone know if both "recommendations" are really needed? Kinda have a hard times trusting Dealers when it comes to stuff like this. Then again im not exactly a mechanic. Comments & opinios would be appreciated. Thanks...

it might be too early for a wheel alignment unless u feel something's not right. that could be done else where for about $50. fuel system should be fine unless u use the crappiest gas that exists and then again u can do it yourself for $6 search for "sea foam" it'll clean more than just the fuel system. At 15k I highly doubt any of those are needed.

What exactly do they mean by "fuel system service"? Looks like another rip-off price to me.

It's probably like the "winterezation" package where they replace your wiper inserts and top off fluids for $60

Couldn't have said it better.

at 15000 miles, if you have alignment problems, its either you really drive badly
(go over harsh curbs with speed), or road sucks over there.

Fuel system service would be very basic I assume. Fuel filter(its like $10 bucks
and easy to replace by yourself.), examine the lines and fuel, or maybe cleaning service.

You also have low mileage, seafoam should be safe to use for you, since
new motors don't tend to have carbon build-ups holding the weak seal
which can be cleaned with seafoam causing leaks & trouble.

Check all your fluid levels(coolant, oil level(test), PS, brake, etc) , examine belts,
look around the engine bay for any problems, flush/drain tranny fluid if needed,
get a compression/leak-down test, check fuses, spark plugs, check idle/revs,
go drive and let go of the handle for any extra vibration or alignment issues,
and there is your "honda service".
