fastbrakes brackets have been proven to fail.

FFC is a better option.

nice. didn't know someone else has made it. I have a custom CAD design for the brackets from a member on elitecm.

I have fastbrakes kit and no problems. How can a bracket and 2 bolts fail?

I was wondering that as well. I don't remember ever hearing about one failing.

Fastbrakes caliper mounting bolt failed. also the aluminum they use is of inferior grade. not sure if they upgraded their products. i'd double check if i we're ya'll.

OH... So if anything we just need to change out the bolts. That means I should do the front and rear since I bought both kits from them.

I contacted fast brakes and this is what I was told..

"The calipers that had issues used a stud to hold the caliper in place. The studs we used were defective and that resulted in the stud braking. They used small 3/8 studs.

Your kits have 12mm bolts for the front and 10mm for the rear. We have used grade 8.8 bolts in these kits for almost 15 years with no instances of breakage."
