AV6-6 vs NSX vs '12 Si vs S/C Prelude

Got in a race with a 1991 Acura NSX 5-speed. He was rolling with a cutoff muffler, H&R Race springs, and 275mm wide Yokohoma summer tires. I have 225mm wide all-seasons with an AEM V2 intake, OBX-R catback, and Eibach Sportline springs.

0-100mph he had about 1.5 cars ahead of me.
35-120mph i had 1 carlength ahead of him!

2012 Civic Si coupe had a K&N drop-in filter, i literally put bus lengths on him from a dig and a roll.

2000 Honda Prelude 5-speed with 9lbs supercharger was say he expected to run 13.1s quarter miles (my best time BEFORE exhaust was 14.2 lolz). I beat him from a dig by about a car-length

2012 Subaru WRX with increased boost and a catback **** all over me.

I put 2 car lengths on a 2003 350z with a intake from 60-90mph

Altima SE-R 6-speed with lowering springs, Injen intake, and motormount inserts. Raced 0-120, he got me on the launch but i started pulling ahead around 60mph and kept moving ahead.

NSX

My buddies SE-R in my garage

Nice roster there.

Surprised with the run with the NSX.

My buddy has the 265HP '11 WRX and in cool weather (below 80) I pull on him on the highway but in 90+ degrees it's the other way around. From a stop its no contest. They do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. He has a Cobb accessport and a cobb intake. I have V2, PCD, polished intake runners, 1st gen J-pipe.

Idk if i want PCD or J-pipe as my next big bolt-on. Gonna get P2R gaskets, NRG torque dampener, 3rd cat delete and possibly the TL-S front sway bar before.

So PCD or J-pipe?

That's a tough one...the PCDs will most likely give you most up top power, but the Jpipe will help more down in the low-midrange for DD driving. That's up to you. The PCDs will make your car much louder though, even with the quiet as hell OBX catback. I have some soundclips in here of my PCD/RV6 V1/OBX combo. I think they're in the exhaust comparison thread if you're interested.

Great runs man. You should get a GoPro so you can get these on film! I'm surprsed by the NSX run for sure. I'm also surprised you pulled that much on a 350z with I/E in such a short span. Was it 6spd?

Yes i would love to hear those sound clips!
The 350z was the 2003 model, so less power. But still a nice kill.

Wow thats impressive. Ive walked my buddies 2003 G35 coupe 6-speed. He has intake and catback. We raced like 6 times.

Also raced a brand new 2012 Cobalt SS Turbo that had intake & exhaust. I only beat me by half-a-car at 100mph.
