Count on the 3.3L Camry V6 to be able to show you tail-lights from 0-60.

240TQ, way more low-end guts than any factory Accord.

The 2004 Solara V6 should be about equivalent to the 2004 Camry SE 3.3L (#5) below.

I did some simulation work on the 04 Solara also. It should be about as quick as the Camry SE 3.3L in the base SE version with 16" rims. But the SE Sport and SLE I believe both come with 17" rims and that'll cost it because bigger rims are heavier, require more energy to accelerate, and take away from acceleration. Here's what I get, depending on rim size.

0-60 (16"): 6.7
0-60 (17"): 7.0

1/4 mile (16"): 15.3 @ 91
1/4 mile (17"): 15.6 @ 89

But what about Solara on Premium? We just bought a 04 Solara SLE V6 manual says there will be improved engine performance for using premium like the 7th gen AV6.

That's without even surrendering a transmission but at the risk of not sounding VTEC cool

I meant that the 3.3L Toyotas doing 0-60Mph in under 7 sec...

I'm saying that those Toyotas do that kind of acceleration without even having transmission deficiencies like we do and that we have VTEC which sounds better.
